Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Logistics delivery driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining efficient warehouse operations. Responsibilities
- Operate various types of commercial vehicles, including flatbed lorries, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.
- Plan and execute delivery routes, maintaining schedules and adhering to delivery deadlines.
- Load and unload goods using appropriate mechanical tools and equipment, ensuring items are secured properly for transit.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with legal standards.
- Assist with warehouse organisation, stock management, and inventory control as needed.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly as a delivery driver
- Must hold a clean UK drivers licence.
- Experience of operating a forklift truck
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
