Kitchen Porter (Full-Time / Part-Time)

We’re looking for a hardworking and reliable Head Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team. This is a vital role at the heart of our operation - you’ll be the person who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
Kitchen life is fast-paced and physically demanding, but it’s also rewarding. We’re a close-knit team who support each other and take pride in what we do. If you bring the right attitude, we’ll make sure you feel part of the team.
Reliability is absolutely essential for this role. We need people who turn up on time, every time. If you are not dependable or cannot commit to your shifts, this is not the job for you. We value our team and cannot operate if we are let down.
Due to our rural location, there are no public transport links available. You must have your own transport and be able to commute to and from work for all scheduled shifts.

The Role
As Head Kitchen Porter, you’ll keep the kitchen clean, safe, and organised so our chefs can focus on delivering great food.
Key Responsibilities
- Washing and drying crockery, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Maintaining cleanliness of all kitchen areas, surfaces, and floors
- Cleaning cookers, fryers, and kitchen appliances
- Managing waste and recycling correctly
- Receiving and putting away deliveries
- Ensuring cleaning supplies and equipment are stocked
- Washing, drying, and organising kitchen linen
- Supporting chefs with basic food prep (e.g. peeling and chopping vegetables)
- Maintaining high hygiene and safety standards at all times

- Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure
- Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Previous experience is essential for Head KP Role
- Evening and weekend availability
