We are seeking a reliable and skilled Drivers to join our team. Job role is 6am-3pm with overtime if wanted.
We supply the vehicle and fuel free of charge and a (3.5t van XLWB) which will be located in Perivale ( UB6 Postcode) This is a self employed role.
Pay is weekly every Friday after a 2 weeks arrears period. Training 1st day rate applies.
The successful candidates will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations. This role requires strong communication skills and a good understanding of logistics, particularly for time sensitive or chilled/frozen temperature operations.
Duties
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage during transit.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies while driving.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is required.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and clients so excellent English is a must
- Available for work on the days agreed - Monday - Friday
- A good understanding of route planning and navigation skills.
- Living within PERIVALE are and the immediate surrounding areas will get you priority
