About Us:
Established in 1932, The London Clinic is one of the UK's largest independent charitable hospitals, providing exceptional care across a wide range of medical and surgical specialties.
Our Haematology service delivers highly specialised care for patients undergoing complex treatments, including stem cell collection and transplantation. Working closely with national and international donor organisations, our teams play a vital role in supporting life changing and potentially lifesaving treatment pathways.
As a charity, everything we do is focused on patient care. Behind every successful treatment is a dedicated team of clinical and non-clinical colleagues working together to provide a seamless experience for patients and donors. This Medical Secretary role is an important part of that journey, helping to coordinate specialist services, support clinical teams and ensure patients receive the highest standard of care from referral through to treatment.
The Role:
This is a varied and rewarding role where you will help coordinate specialist patient and donor pathways within a highly specialised clinical service. Working closely with clinicians, patients, donor organisations and external partners, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth delivery of stem cell collection services and supporting patients throughout their treatment journey.
We're looking for a highly organised administrator with strong audio typing skills, exceptional attention to detail and experience working within a healthcare environment. You will be confident managing sensitive information, prioritising competing demands and maintaining accuracy within a busy service.
This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys working collaboratively, takes pride in delivering high quality administrative support and understands the important contribution that non-clinical teams make to patient care.
