Job Title: Duty Manager/Guest Services Manager
Contract: Permanent 39 hour (5 days) – weekday and weekend mix

The Hampton by Hilton Bristol City Centre is a 202 bedroom hotel in a fantastic city centre location. We are currently recruiting for a Duty Manager (39 hour / 5 day – contracted full time - mixture of mornings, afternoons and some night shifts as per the business needs). What will I be doing?As Duty Manager, you will assist in daily Front Office/ Food & Beverage operations and work with customers and guests to serve their needs and provide an excellent customer service experience. A Duty Manager is responsible for managing the first impressions of our guests and, therefore, must perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Oversee daily Front Office/ Food & Beverage operations
- Provide prompt service and actively seek opportunities to drive guest satisfaction
- Ensure that you are fully aware of any relevant feedback from either guests or other departments
- Manage, resolve or escalate any and all guest complaints quickly
- Ensure all access to the hotel is secure as required by hotel policy and procedure.
- Ensure a high level of product knowledge of the hotel and the local area
- Respond to guest complaints, conduct research and resolve and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction, as needed
- Receive, input, retrieve and relay messages to guests, as needed
- Carry out duty manager shifts

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: £14.50-£15.42 per hour
