We have vacancies become available for Qualified Early Years Practitioners to join our Enchanted team!
We are looking for candidates, who are enthusiastic and passionate about a career working with children.
Applicants need to be qualified in childcare at Level 3 or above to apply for this position.
The working hours are 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days per week.
We are open 51 weeks per year and close over the Christmas period and all Bank holidays.
At Enchanted we offer 28 days annual leave per full leave year, as well as offering staff birthday, as additional days annual leave.
We also grant additional annual leave for long serving employees, as well as various incentives to acknowledge hard work and commitment to our nursery.
The main responsibilities include;
- Working as part of a team.
- Working in partnership with parents / carers.
- Using online app.
- Planning and preparing a variety of activities based on children’s interests, providing high quality teaching and learning experiences.
- Completing assessments and recording children’s individual development progress.
- Helping to create an enabling environment where children can thrive.
- Fulfilling key person role, for a small group of children.
- Safeguarding children.
- Being a good role model.
- Support children with SEND, working in partnership with parents and external agencies.
At Enchanted we provide in-house and external training, to support personal and professional development. Training provided also will include any mandatory training such as; Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and Food Safety.
Job offer will be subject to DBS checks and registering on update service and 2 suitable references following our safer recruitment procedures.
