Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Financial Administrator to support the day-to-day financial operations at Gas Care. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting accounts processes, and ensuring smooth data flow between Xero and Commusoft systems.

Duties
- Manage accounts payable processes, including processing supplier invoices and reconciling payments using Xero
- Accurately input and maintain financial data across Xero and Commusoft, ensuring consistency between systems
- Reconcile transactions between Commusoft job data and Xero accounts
- Maintain up-to-date and organised financial records in line with company procedures
- Assist with preparation of financial reports, install tracking and performance figures
- Support bank reconciliations and account balancing
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely job costing, invoicing, and payment allocation
- Support month-end processes, including reporting and data checks
- Assist with audit preparation and ensure compliance with internal controls
- Maintain structured and accessible filing systems for all financial and operational documentation
Requirements
- Experience using Xero accounting software (essential)
- Experience with Commusoft or similar job management systems (highly desirable)
- Strong data entry skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Understanding of accounts payable, reconciliation, and financial administration processes
- Ability to manage and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience within a finance or admin role preferred, ideally within a service-based business

Role Overview
This role is central to ensuring the accuracy between operational systems (Commusoft) and financial reporting (Xero), supporting the wider business with reliable financial data, efficient processes, and strong administrative control.
Pay: £26,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
