SEN Cover Supervisor – ASAP Start | Gosport
Are you passionate about supporting students with additional needs and confident managing a classroom environment? We are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEN Cover Supervisor to join specialist and mainstream schools across Gosport for an immediate start.
The Role
As an SEN Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Deliver pre-set lessons to students with Special Educational Needs
- Support students with varying learning, behavioural, and emotional needs
- Maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
- Manage behaviour effectively and encourage student engagement
- Work closely with teaching staff and SEN teams to support student progress
Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN preferred
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Patient, adaptable, and resilient approach
- Background in education, care, coaching, or support work beneficial
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
