Pentagon Motor Group have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Business Manager to join our high-performing dealership in Loughborough.
With the continued expansion of the Chery brand in the UK, we are now looking to strengthen our team with the addition of a Business Manager to support the next stage of growth at our Loughborough dealership.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven motor industry professional to become part of an exciting new chapter within the automotive industry. This role would suit a confident, commercially focused and compliance-led individual who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences while achieving exceptional business results.

What will you be doing?
Pentagon Loughborough are looking for an experienced and commercially aware Business Manager to identify, based on individual suitability and requirements, appropriate funding and insurance options for customers while consistently meeting agreed profitability and penetration targets.
As a Company, we place a strong focus on customer care and regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for ensuring every customer interaction is professional, transparent and compliant, whilst maximising departmental performance.
As part of Chery's continued growth journey, you'll also have the opportunity to help shape customer experiences around an exciting and rapidly developing automotive brand entering the UK market.
Responsibilities will include:

Naturally building rapport with customers quickly and professionally, ensuring customers are treated fairly at all times.

Presenting tailored finance and insurance products based on thorough qualification of customer needs.

Monitoring finance and insurance performance against budget, identifying shortfalls and implementing corrective action where necessary.

Assisting management in planning, forecasting trends and contributing to ongoing dealership performance strategy.

Working collaboratively with management to coach and develop the sales team to achieve shared business objectives.

Maintaining accurate records and logging all activity to monitor performance, measure outcomes and provide regular feedback to the Sales Manager and General Manager.

Ensuring full compliance with FCA regulations, internal processes and industry legislation at all times.

Becoming a key part of the continued development and success of a growing brand within the UK market.
The successful candidate will:

Have proven experience within a target-driven Motor Trade environment, ideally as a Business Manager or Senior Sales Executive.

Demonstrate a strong and consistent F&I sales performance record.

Possess excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and adapt within a fast-paced retail environment.

Have strong negotiation and objection-handling skills, tailoring presentations to individual customer needs.

Demonstrate and ensure compliance with operating processes, FCA regulations and consumer legislation.

Lead by example, maintaining professionalism and energy regardless of workload or trading conditions.

Have up-to-date knowledge of vehicle legislation, consumer legislation and modern retail business practices.

Demonstrate a positive, driven and performance-focused attitude.

Hold a full UK driving licence.
The successful applicant must agree to a Basic Disclosure under the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) procedures. Employment will be offered subject to a satisfactory Disclosure report.
The working hours for this role are 5 days per week on a sales rota, including weekends.
