Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. For a 1 year contact with possibility of becoming permanent. The successful candidate will support dentists during procedures, provide excellent patient care, and ensure the smooth operation of daily clinic activities.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials prior to appointments
- Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions, answering any queries with clarity
- Ensure the cleanliness and sterilisation of dental instruments and equipment in accordance with health regulations
- Support administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and patient correspondence
- Adhere to infection control protocols and health & safety guidelines at all times
Experience
- Previous experience and GDC registration is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and professionalism
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, for effective communication with patients and team members
- Basic IT skills for managing electronic health records and appointment systems
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently whilst maintaining attention to detail
Pay is negotiable.
