Golden Tours is London's leading sightseeing tour operator and are currently looking for a suitable candidate to join as a Visitor Centre Assistant/Meet and Greet Representative. This role involves working as the first point of contact for all walk-in guests at our Visitor Centre in Baker Street.
This is a full-time contract of 40 hours a week, across 5 days (including weekends).
Job description:
- Providing information and directions to walk-in visitors.
- Selling tickets for Open Top Bus tours, sightseeing tours, attractions and theatre products.
- Upselling and cross-selling to existing customers.
- Taking the pre-booked Warner Brothers customers to the stand, and resolving any issues.
- Set up displays within the centre and ensure things are organised.
- Sell other souvenirs items in the shop.
- Assisting with departures of all tours and services from the Visitor Centre
- Responsible for maintaining accurate records of all transactions
- Responsible for dealing with escalation requests from our call-centre team
- Keep up to date with local accommodation, places to visit, activities and events.
- Responsible for cashing up at the end of the shifts for our street sellers.
- Keeping the office neat and tidy at all times - this is inclusive of all customer areas including toilets.
