Salary & Earning Potential
We offer a structured pay scale that rewards your loyalty and hard work:
- Starting Salary: £38,688 per annum - £15.50ph (based on 48 hours).
- 6-Month Increase: £39,936 per annum - £16.00ph.
- 12-Month Increase: £41,184 per annum - £16.50ph.
- Overtime: Earn up to £53,625 (based on 60 hours).
- Overtime Rate: Paid at Time & ¼ after 50 hours.
- Performance Bonus: Up to £1,200 annually (£100 paid monthly).

The Role
As a Class 2 Driver, you will be the face of EPD, delivering dry lining and plastering materials to trade and public customers nationwide.
- Typical Shift: 4:00 AM – 6:00 AM starts; average 12-hour days.
- Workload: Low multi-drop (average 3–4 deliveries per day).
- Duties: Conduct daily vehicle safety checks, ensure secure loading, manage fuel/paperwork, and provide excellent customer service.
What We Are Looking For
- Licensing: Valid UK HGV Class 2 License, CPC, and Digital-tachograph card.
- Compliance: No more than 6 penalty points (for insurance purposes, candidates must be 21+).
- Fitness: Physically fit for manual handling tasks.
- Experience: Strong geographical knowledge and communication skills.
- Minimum 3 Years Class 2 experience
- Note: Experience with Moffett or ratchet/straps is a plus, but not essential—we will train you!
