Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Offer personalised support to children and young people, promoting their social and emotional development
- Engage in mentoring activities to build confidence and resilience among clients
- Assist with daily routines, including educational activities, recreational pursuits, and behavioural support programmes
- Support teaching sessions by helping with homework and learning exercises
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all individuals under your care
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and guardians to ensure consistent support strategies are implemented
- Maintain accurate records of progress and any incidents in accordance with organisational policies
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to mentoring, working with children, and teaching
Experience
- Previous experience working with children or young people is highly desirable
- Experience in mentoring or supporting individuals with diverse needs is advantageous
- Knowledge of child development principles and behavioural management techniques is beneficial
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and team members
- A genuine passion for teaching, mentoring, and making a positive difference in young lives
