Our local family run Nursing Home requires an Activities Co-ordinator to join our friendly team on a part-time basis. Were seeking a caring and creative individual who excels at planning, organising and implementing.
This is an exciting opportunity to really get to know our residents and provide them with a variety of stimulating activit6es that no only promote physical health, but also mental wellbeing.
Experience of conducting risk assessments, managing a calendar, organising events/ activities and liaising with 3rd parties is desirable.

Responsibilities
- Plan and organize engaging activities for residents in the care home, ensuring they cater to various interests and abilities.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to assess needs and preferences.
- Provide support in assisted living and nursing home settings, focusing on senior and dementia care.
- Monitor and document residents' participation and well-being during activities, adapting plans as necessary.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes social interaction and enhances quality of life.
Pay: £13.00-£13.75 per hour
