Clock Barn wedding venue is currently recruiting for enthusiastic, hard-working and experienced Venue Cleaning Assistants to support with the cleaning of the event spaces, 22-bedrooms, as well as its Honeymoon Suite and Bridal Preparation Room.
Reporting to the Accommodation and Venue Manager, the successful candidates will play a key part in helping deliver a smooth and memorable wedding day for our couples. Therefore, experience in a premium hotel or housekeeping setting is desirable.
The successful candidates will need to be able to ensure they are committed to showcasing 5* cleaning, work productively as part of a team and delivering excellent customer service, when required.
In order to be successful, any applicants will need to be enthusiastic, extremely hard working, highly organised with good communication skills, have an eye for detail and a personable and friendly outlook. Please note, applicants who do not answer the screener questions in detail will be automatically rejected.
Responsibilities will include;
- Working as part of a team, to help ensure event spaces and rooms are cleaned to an exceptional standard
- Cleaning and arranging rooms, to the wedding days requirements, including the correct linen and bed arrangement set up
- Hoovering, mopping and treating floors to maintain their durability
- Dusting furniture or fixtures and polishing them
- Scrubbing and sanitising showers, bathtubs, toilets, countertops and sinks
- Ensuring correct stock control and processing of linen
- Ensuring stock and equipment is used correctly
These are casual positions with shifts falling into two categories, 7am to 1pm or 10am to 1pm, with the available working hours including weekends. The successful candidates would be working as part of a friendly yet small team in an ever-growing family run business whose ethos is to ensure that every person who visits Clock Barn has a first-class experience.
Please note, due to our remote location, you will need to have your own transport - we are not within walking distance to public transport or a location that is suitable for cycling.
