Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a lively environment, providing exceptional service to our guests. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. All positions are paid, including internships, and offer flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle.
Duties
- Serve a wide range of beverages efficiently and courteously to guests
- Take orders accurately and relay them to the bar or kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system
- Restock bar supplies and monitor stock levels regularly
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing any queries or concerns
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables as needed during busy periods
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe environment for all staff and guests
Skills
- Strong hospitality skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Knowledge of food safety standards relevant to bar operations
- Experience in serving drinks in a fast-paced environment is desirable but not essential
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Good basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Proven time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy periods
- Previous restaurant or bar experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to work well within a team and maintain a positive attitude under pressure
