We’re looking for experienced freelance AV technicians to support the installation and commissioning of a new semi-permanent visitor centre project in the North East.
The project involves a series of interactive museum-style activations, including touchscreen interactives, media playback systems, projection mapping, multi-screen displays, audio, control hardware, and integrated AV within fabricated exhibition units.
We’re particularly interested in people with experience in:
- AV installation and commissioning
- Commercial displays and touchscreen setup
- Media PCs / NUCs
- Projection and projection mapping support
- Audio installation and basic tuning
- Cable management, labelling and fault finding
- Working around fabricated exhibition / museum builds
- On-site testing, snagging and handover support
This would suit technicians who are practical, calm on site, detail-focused, and comfortable working as part of a small creative/technical team. Museum, exhibition, visitor attraction, events or experiential install experience would be ideal.
The project is currently scheduled for installation and commissioning in August, with AV install, calibration, system testing, content tuning and handover taking place on site.
