We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to begin their career as an Apprentice Dental Nurse at our modern, newly refurbished dental practice in North Shields.
Our practice combines state of the art facilities with a friendly, patient focused approach, creating an exceptional environment for both our patients and team members. This apprenticeship provides hands on experience alongside professional training, allowing you to gain a nationally recognised qualification while earning a salary.
About the Role
As an Apprentice Dental Nurse, you will work closely with our experienced clinical team to support the delivery of high-quality dental care. You will learn all aspects of dental nursing while developing valuable skills in patient care, communication, and clinical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting dentists and hygienists during a wide range of dental procedures
- Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms
- Sterilising and managing dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
- Welcoming and supporting patients throughout their visit
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Managing stock and ordering supplies when required
- Providing excellent customer service and helping create a positive patient experience
- Completing coursework and training as part of your dental nursing apprenticeship
About You

Essential Requirements
- GCSE Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths preferred
- Commitment to completing a Dental Nurse Apprenticeship qualification
- A genuine interest in healthcare and dentistry
