Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation across various commercial premises. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with a focus on delivering high standards of hygiene and presentation. Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in commercial environments, including offices, retail spaces, and other public areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other facilities as required
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within allocated shifts
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment is desirable but training will be provided
