Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Van Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely service and excellent customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a van to deliver goods to designated destinations within the scheduled timeframe

- Load and unload items, ensuring they are secured properly during transit
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to optimise time and fuel consumption
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and records of deliveries made
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies during deliveries
- Assist with warehouse duties, including heavy lifting of goods when necessary
- Ensure the van is kept clean and well-maintained at all times
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably with commercial driving experience
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Strong organisational skills to plan routes and manage delivery schedules effectively
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling goods in warehouse or during deliveries
- Good knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical fitness to handle long periods of driving and lifting tasks
