We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and execution of the new menu items.
- Prepare and cook a diverse range of American diner-style dishes with precision and consistency.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to maintain a smooth and efficient operation.
- Uphold quality control measures to guarantee food excellence and presentation.
- Manage inventory and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Adapt to changing situations and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Deliver a high quality, fast and efficient service working with our delivery partners for take away orders
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Chef in a high-volume kitchen, preferably in American cuisine or a similar setting.
- Proficiency in preparing and presenting a variety of dishes, including burgers, wings, loaded fries, and other classic American favourites.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility in scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Level 2 or higher food hygiene qualification
