We’re recruiting experienced FLT Counterbalance Drivers to join a busy, well-established automotive site in Burnaston, Derby.
This is a great opportunity for reliable FLT drivers looking for stable, long-term work, competitive pay, and regular overtime in a fast-paced production environment.
Pay Rates
Standard hours: £15.33 per hour
Overtime: £21.84 per hour
Weekends: £29.12 per hour
Shift Pattern
Weekly rotating shifts:
AM shift: 05:30 – 14:30
PM shift: 15:00 – 00:00
The Role
You’ll be working as part of a busy site team, operating Counterbalance FLTs safely and efficiently to support day-to-day production and logistics operations.
The role involves working both indoors and outdoors, so you must be comfortable working in all weather conditions. Safety, teamwork, and reliability are key.
Duties Include
- Operating Counterbalance FLTs in a high-volume production environment
- Moving materials safely and efficiently around site
- Working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Following strict health, safety, and operational procedures
- Supporting wider site operations when required
- Being flexible for overtime where needed
Requirements
- Valid FLT Counterbalance licence is essential
- Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or automotive environment is preferred
- Able to work weekly rotating AM and PM shifts
- Comfortable working outdoors as well as indoors
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work well as part of a team
- Able to pass an on-site FLT assessment before starting
