Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, ensuring smooth service delivery.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards and adherence to food safety regulations.
- Assist with food production tasks when necessary, supporting the culinary team in preparing dishes to specifications.
- Monitor restaurant operations during shifts, resolving any issues promptly to uphold customer satisfaction.
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and professional team.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, particularly regarding food safety and hygiene standards.
- Serve as a point of contact for guests, addressing concerns courteously and efficiently.
- Collaborate with management on menu planning, stock control, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the premises.
- Lead by example in delivering excellent hospitality services, including serving customers when required.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Experience in food safety protocols and food production processes.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to multitask under pressure.
- Previous restaurant experience is essential; hotel or barista experience is advantageous.
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour suitable for guest interaction.

Pay: £24,420.00-£47,303.97 per year
