The Finance Operations Assistant supports the effective financial management of Tedaisy by implementing processes that ensure compliance with regulations and enhance operational accuracy and efficiency.
What you'll do:
- Adhere to and promote the Company’s financial procedures and compliance standards.
- Coordinate and execute Claims financial transactions and activities, such as payment of invoices, and ensuring all customer premiums are up to date.
- Maintain accurate financial records for claims using internal systems and spreadsheets.
- Checking customer premium payments and support refunds for overpayments.
- Arranging recovery of claim overpayments, ensuring leakage is under 1%.
- Collaborate with other teams to resolve financial discrepancies and errors.
- Respond to financial queries from colleagues, clients, and stakeholders professionally and accurately.
- Assist in preparing regular claims financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify financial trends, irregularities, or errors through data analysis.
- Support automation initiatives for streamlining claims payments.
- Participate in audits by providing necessary data and insights
Experience, Qualifications & Skills

Working knowledge of financial processes within the insurance industry (or similar), with an understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
- Maths GSCE or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a finance or insurance operations role (e.g. Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, or similar) is preferable.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Confident in using Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet tools to manage and analyse data.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to identify discrepancies and trends.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving and team interaction.

Pay: £24,500 per annum
