Job Summary
The Receptionist will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties can include, but are not limited to, greeting and directing patients, the effective use of the appointment system, booking appointments, the processing of information (electronic and hard copy) in a timely manner and in accordance with current policies, assisting patients as required and supporting the administration team with patient registration,
The post-holder will act as the central point of contact for patients, be responsible for the distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team, liaise with multi-disciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.

Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer incoming calls promptly, directing them appropriately using excellent phone etiquette
- Manage front desk activities, including handling enquiries and providing information
- Maintain organised records and files both electronically and physically
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars effectively
- Assist with general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and filing
- Support team members with administrative tasks to ensure efficient office operations
Skills
- Proven office experience with strong organisational skills
- SystmOne and Accurx knowledge preferred
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SharePoint
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong typing ability for efficient document processing
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Attention to detail in all aspects of work to ensure accuracy and professionalism
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
