Graduate Teaching Assistant - Hillingdon
£95 to £100 per day PAYE
Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM
Full-time, long-term to permanent contract (term-time only)

About the Role:
- Support pupils with SEN, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, and additional learning needs across a Primary School setting
- Provide dedicated 1:1 and small group support in line with EHCP targets
- Deliver engaging, play-based learning activities to support academic, social, and emotional development
- Work alongside Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants to provide consistent support
- Use a nurturing and adaptable approach to provide effective behaviour support
- Help pupils develop confidence, communication skills, and independence
- Gain valuable SEND experience through ongoing training, mentoring, and professional development opportunities
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with SEN including Autism (ASC), ADHD, and associated learning needs
- Implement EHCP strategies within classroom and intervention sessions
- Assist in delivering personalised learning activities tailored to individual needs
- Provide behaviour support to promote engagement, emotional regulation, and positive outcomes
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff
- Monitor student progress and contribute to learning and support plans
- Promote inclusion and positive participation across all aspects of school life

Key Requirements:
- A graduate with a passion for supporting children with SEN
- Interest in Autism (ASC), ADHD, and supporting pupils with additional needs
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant is desirable but not essential
- Understanding of EHCPs and behaviour support strategies or a willingness to learn
- Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to building a career within education and SEND
