Job role: Recycling Operative, scrap picking
Location: Ilkeston, Derbyshire

Sky Recruitment Solutions are recruiting for Recycling Operatives to join our client based in Ilkeston. They have over 70 years’ experience in the recycling industry and are continuously expanding!
Benefits:
- Weekly pay, directly into your bank every Friday

- £15.26 overtime rate after 40 hours

Pay - £12.71
Duties:
- As a Recycling Operative, you will work on a picking line, picking recyclable goods, as well as doing other manual labour/general tidying around the yard or picking station.
- This role as a Recycling Operative is very physically demanding, so must be fit and healthy as labourer roles are involved
- Previous experience within a labouring environment is desirable but not essential
- Work ethic is very key and this will be monitored frequently by Site Supervisors
- The ideal candidate this Recycling Operative role would be a hardworking, reliable individual and be comfortable with working outdoors in any weather conditions.
- Working with a team of Recycling Operatives to ensure that KPI's are hit and the work station is tidy at al times
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimise risks while working with potentially hazardous materials warehouse
- Perform routine inspections of equipment to identify any mechanical issues.
- Potenail to upskill as forklift operator
