Location: Plymouth, PL9
Ad-hoc shifts available
Shift Times:
- Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 18:00
- Friday: 07:00 – 14:00
- Some Saturdays available (overtime)
About the Role:
Smart Solutions are recruiting Sort Line Operatives to join a leading waste and recycling business based in the PL9 area of Plymouth.
This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals who enjoy physical, hands-on work and are looking for flexible, ad-hoc shifts.
You will play an important role in the recycling process by helping to sort and separate materials to support environmental sustainability and efficient waste management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sorting recyclable materials on a moving conveyor line
- Identifying and separating different waste categories
- Picking selective materials at defined rates
- Ensuring quality and recovery rates are maximised
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Housekeeping of operator cabins and the facility
- Following all health & safety procedures
- Supporting general duties throughout the facility
- Working effectively as part of a team
Shift Pattern & Availability:
- Weekly rota provided
- Hours and working days may vary each week
- Some weeks may offer full-time hours, while others may have fewer or no shifts available
- Overtime opportunities available, including Saturdays
This role is ideal for someone looking for flexibility and who can adapt to changing weekly schedules.
