1. Purpose of the Role
The Senior Account Executive role is responsible for winning higher-value and more complex new-logo opportunities for Cirrus Connects. The role is focused on strategic prospecting, senior stakeholder engagement, complex sales cycles, competitive positioning, procurement navigation, and closing material new-business revenue.
2. Key Responsibilities
Strategic New Business Acquisition
· Identify and target larger, higher-value, or more complex prospective customers.
· Build strategic pursuit plans for priority accounts, sectors, and buying groups.
· Develop relationships with senior stakeholders, including Director, C-Suite, procurement, operational, and technology leaders.
· Create demand by connecting Cirrus Connects' capabilities to customer transformation, service, efficiency, and customer experience goals.
· Lead senior-level discovery conversations that uncover strategic, operational, and commercial drivers.
Opportunity Strategy
· Map decision-makers, influencers, procurement routes, competitors, and approval processes.
· Develop tailored win strategies for priority opportunities.
· Shape customer thinking before formal procurement or competitive processes begin.
· Build value-led business cases that support buying decisions and executive approval.
3. Commercial Ownership
Complex Deal Leadership
· Lead full-cycle new-business opportunities from prospecting to contract signature.
· Shape commercial strategy, pricing approach, proposal structure, and negotiation position.
· Coordinate stakeholders across sales, technical, commercial, product, delivery, and leadership teams.
· Lead competitive bids, formal procurement processes, and RFP responses where required.
· Negotiate complex commercial terms while protecting margin, delivery confidence, and long-term customer fit.
4. Pipeline Control & Risk Management
Strategic Forecasting
· Maintain a high-quality strategic pipeline with clear qualification, deal strategy, and next steps.
· Provide reliable forecasts based on evidence, customer engagement, decision process, and commercial momentum.
· Identify deal risks early, including competitor influence, procurement barriers, budget uncertainty, and stakeholder misalignment.
· Build recovery or acceleration plans for material opportunities where momentum changes.
5. Market Growth & New-Logo Acquisition
Market Leadership
· Open new strategic relationships in target accounts and sectors.
· Use market insight, competitor intelligence, and customer feedback to improve Cirrus Connects' new business approach.
· Develop account-entry strategies for priority prospects.
· Create and progress opportunities that materially contribute to new-business revenue targets.
6. Team Support & Leadership
Sales Leadership
· Support junior hunters with opportunity strategy, qualification, progression, and commercial discipline.
· Share best practice on outbound messaging, discovery, stakeholder mapping, and negotiation.
· Help improve sales playbooks, pursuit planning, and new business process standards.
· Ensure smooth handover of won opportunities into implementation and customer ownership teams.

Pay: £60,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
