Business Unit: 5069 - Civils North

Location:Wolverhampton

Job Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on Sprint Phase 2, a major highways upgrade project located in Wolverhampton. This £22m scheme focuses on improvements along the A45, including upgrades to road structures, installation of new bus stops, and enhancements to bus and cycle routes.

Duties

Lead internal and external commercial reporting, including client-facing applications.
Provide day to day leadership to the commercial team and ensure robust commercial processes.
Administer NEC contracts, ideally Option C (target cost), though candidates experienced in other NEC forms (A, B, D) are welcome
Maintain effective relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and site teams.

Person Specification

Strong background in highways or similar infrastructure projects.
Proven experience administering NEC contracts, with Option C being highly beneficial.
Ability to lead and mentor less experienced team members.
Commercially strong with solid reporting and client facing communication skills.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full Time - 40 hours - Monday to Friday
