Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities contracts through effective maintenance practices. This role requires a strong background in various maintenance disciplines within the licensee sector , The Maintenance Person will play a crucial role in maintenance , performing repairs, and ensuring a safe working environment. You will posses a strong background within the national licensee sector i.e. have you worked for Brains, Whitbread, Weatherspoon, Stonegate, Michell and butlers etc etc.
A core discipline is required carpentry, plumbing, painter and decorator but you will also have the ability to perform other tasks outside your core skill.
Additional per hour increments are paid for experience and accredited engineers, i.e unvented boilers, fire door certifications etc etc,
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Oversee facilities maintenance tasks,
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using job logic.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with staff and clients regarding maintenance needs.
- Supervise junior maintenance staff, providing guidance and leadership as required.
Experience
- Proven experience in maintenance roles within similar environments.
- A core discipline trade and the ability to adapt to other trades.
- Must posses a can do attitude and trouble shot any issues.
- A strong background in further works (quoted) reporting, and further works details.
- An ability to lead by example and provide assistance where required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £14.50-£17.50 per hour
