We are currently recruiting for an experienced Cleaning Operative - afternoons to join our team within the Derby region. This role is covering various local sites across Derby with some occasional travel to sites in Nottingham. Please note a car allowance is included and fuel expenses are also covered.
The role involves carrying out cleaning duties at various locations during afternoon shifts, with working hours varying between 12:00pm and 8:00pm.
This is a minimum 25-hour-per-week position. The successful candidate will need to have access to their own vehicle and be flexible to work a variety of afternoon/evening shifts. The role would suit someone who is reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently across multiple sites.
Duties vary across the sites but mainly focus on:
- General office cleaning – covering communal areas such as meeting rooms, reception spaces, toilets and kitchens.
- Hoovering
- Dusting and wiping surfaces.
- Ensuring all offices and communal areas are well maintained
- Adhere to all site policies and protocols
- Completing all necessary training
- Induction and training support is offered for all sites
