Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated CQC Registered Manager to oversee the daily operations of our supported living. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered in a safe, compliant, and compassionate manner. This role is ideal for a proactive leader with a strong background in nursing, senior care, or home care services, particularly within assisted living or nursing home environments. The Registered Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining compliance with CQC regulations and fostering a positive environment for residents and staff alike.
Duties
- Lead and manage the care home team, providing supervision and support to ensure high-quality care delivery.
- Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans tailored to residents’ individual needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care.
- Oversee medication administration processes in accordance with legal and organisational policies.
- Ensure compliance with all CQC regulations, maintaining accurate documentation and records.
- Monitor staff performance, organise training sessions, and promote continuous professional development.
- Foster a safe and welcoming environment by conducting regular risk assessments and ensuring health & safety standards are met.
- Liaise effectively with residents’ families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive care services.
- Manage budgets, resources, and staffing rotas efficiently to meet operational needs.
- Lead initiatives to improve service quality, resident satisfaction, and staff engagement.
Skills
- Proven experience in senior care management within a care home or assisted living setting.
- Strong leadership skills with previous supervising experience; capable of motivating teams.
- Extensive knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, and medication administration protocols.
- Familiarity with CQC regulations and compliance requirements for nursing homes or home care providers.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to develop effective care plans and manage multiple priorities.
- Compassionate approach to eldercare with a focus on dignity and respect for residents’ independence.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with residents, families, staff, and external professionals.

Pay: £30,523.00-£57,260.90 per year
