Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Osteopath to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing holistic musculoskeletal treatment to patients, promoting recovery, and improving overall well-being. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations
- Develop customised treatment programmes based on individual patient needs
- Use manual therapy techniques such as mobilisation, manipulation, and soft tissue work to alleviate pain and improve mobility
- Educate patients on posture, exercise, and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing health
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimise patient care outcomes
- Stay informed about the latest developments in osteopathic practices and integrate new techniques as appropriate
Requirements
- recognised qualification in Osteopathy from an accredited institution
- Proven knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Registration with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) or relevant professional body
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse patients
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in record keeping
- Compassionate approach with a genuine interest in patient wellbeing
- Prior experience in a clinical setting is desirable but not essential; training opportunities are available for recent graduates
