Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to oversee and coordinate electrical projects within the NEW BUILD SECTOR of the construction industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and organisational skills, with a proven track record in project management and negotiation. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress regularly, adjusting schedules and resources as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Oversee health and safety compliance on-site, ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with relevant regulations.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analysing project performance data and implementing best practices.
- Manage procurement processes for electrical materials and equipment, maintaining strong supplier relationships.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative working environment.
Experience
- Proven management experience within the construction or electrical contracting sector.
- Extensive knowledge of project management tools such as Microsoft Project; proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in supervising teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of construction processes related to electrical installations.
- Exceptional communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members at all levels.
- Valid driving licence is preferred for site visits and client meetings.
- IT proficiency across various platforms relevant to project management and documentation.

Pay: £240.00-£280.00 per day
