Dorset House is set in beautiful peaceful private grounds, close to the heart of the bustling market town of Droitwich, Worcestershire and is home to 42 residents.

The Role:
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents. Your primary role will be to maintain the physical environment at Dorset House, ensuring the home maintains a luxury environment, has fully functioning facilities and complies with health & safety regulations and legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
· Carry out a variety of planned and reactive maintenance/repair tasks.
· Undertake general facilities support tasks as required.
· Carry out regular painting and decorating tasks to keep the home at an exceptional level.
· Assist with contractor visits and provide support where required.
· Diagnose issues and create an achievable, agreeable solution.
· Identify hazards and undertake point of work risk assessments as required.
· Complete compliance checks as per the agreed schedule.

About You:
You will have previous experience in a maintenance role and can demonstrate a range of hands-on, general maintenance skills, e.g., electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting & decorating, as well as a good understanding of health & safety regulations. Experience of working in a care home environment would be an advantage but not essential as we will provide the knowledge required if you have the skills and experience and share our core values.
Pay: Up to £33,500.00 per year
