Delivery Driver required for Italian food distributer. Depot based in Waltham Abbey
Working hours:
Tuesday to Saturday
7.30am - 5.30pm
Role Purpose
Delivering products to destination on a time and in good condition.
Key Accountabilities
· Assisting the warehouse department to ensure goods are loaded correctly
· Delivering goods to customers / destination in a timely manner
· Packing, loading and unloading delivery vans
· Follow delivery route provided by Operations & Logistics manager
· Report any issues to Operations & logistics manager
· Maintaining regular communication with office
· Ensuring vehicle is kept clean and functional
· Assisting at the warehouse and backdoor
· Offloading goods to customers
· Returns & Collections: when returning to depot ensure you liaise with any member of warehouse staff to complete returns form and advise of returned items
Functional/Technical Skills
· Full UK License – clean
· Must be over 25 years of age for Insurance purposes
· Good attention to detail
· Hands on approach
· Motivated
· Good customer service skills
· Polite manner
· Calm under pressure
Pay: From £29,744.00 per year
