Step Into Teaching is working with a supportive school in Luton that is seeking a dedicated SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to support students with a range of Special Educational Needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
About the Role
As an SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who require additional support both inside and outside the classroom. You will play a key role in helping pupils develop academically, socially, and emotionally while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Providing one-to-one and small-group support for students with SEN
- Assisting teachers in adapting learning activities to meet individual needs
- Supporting students with their academic, social, and emotional development
- Building positive relationships that encourage confidence and engagement
- Working collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals
We're Looking For Graduates Who:
- Hold a degree (2:2 or above) in any subject
- Are patient, empathetic, and resilient
- Have a genuine passion for supporting young people
- Are confident building relationships with students and staff
- Have an interest in education, psychology, SEN, or related fields
