The Role
We are seeking an experienced administrative assistant to support the EMEA Awards team, who are responsible for awards submissions, campaigning, and film festivals across the region.
This role partners closely with the Director, Talent Relations & Awards – EMEA and supports the wider team on a variety of projects and tasks.
This position focuses on both coordination and administrative responsibilities. The successful candidate is self‑motivated, adaptable, and able to manage multiple, diverse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization and attention to detail in a fast‑moving environment.
The team works with internal colleagues and external partners across multiple countries and time zones, so strong organization and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks are important. Curiosity, initiative, and sound judgment will support success in this role and at Netflix.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain calendar for the Director, Talent Relations & Awards – EMEA.
Manage a large volume of internal meetings (e.g., all‑team and cross‑functional meetings), often across multiple time zones (including scheduling, gathering agenda items, time management, and coordinating follow‑up actions).
Coordinate travel arrangements and process related expense reports.
Coordinate and help prepare agendas, presentations, and materials for team meetings and events, and ensure follow‑up items are tracked.
Support planning and logistics for team events, off‑sites, and external meetings, including venue/vendor sourcing, logistics, agenda coordination, and presentation logistics.
Raise purchase orders (POs) and track related budgets.
Assist with team projects and events as needed.
Partner with our corporate workplace team and serve as a point of contact for in‑office space planning as needed.
Maintain distribution lists, Google Groups, Slack channels, and similar tools for the team, serving as a point of contact for general team communications.
Engage in frequent cross‑functional communication and collaboration.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
4+ years of experience as an administrative or executive assistant.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong internal and external relationships.
A direct and candid communication style.
Prior experience working with global and matrixed teams (highly preferred).
Proficiency in Google Suite.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Responsiveness and the ability to work flexibly across multiple time zones; occasional work outside typical business hours may be required and will be planned in advance where possible.
Ability to prioritize, organize, and adapt to changing needs.
Interest in film, TV, and entertainment.
Strong organizational skills and a thorough, detail‑oriented approach.
A resourceful and solution‑oriented mindset when addressing challenges.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
