Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Private Carer to provide personalised care and support to an individual in their own home. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to assist with daily activities while promoting independence. Responsibilities
- Providing personalised care based on individual care plans, including assistance with daily living activities.
- Supporting clients with medication management and health monitoring as required.
- Assisting with light domestic tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
- Driving clients to appointments, social activities, or errands in a safe and timely manner and access to own car.
- Maintaining clear and professional communication with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals.
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations at all times during home visits.
- Keeping accurate records of care provided and any changes in the client’s condition.
- Qualifications
- Valid driving licence with clean driving record.
- Current clear DBS check and prepared to have enhanced DBS.
- Previous experience working within a care home, with dementia patients or providing home care is desirable.
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to implement personalised support strategies.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, for effective communication.
- Basic IT skills for maintaining documentation and updating care records.
- Excellent communication skills, demonstrating empathy, patience, and professionalism.

Pay: £20.00-£25.00 per hour
