To provide a supportive role to the physiology / clinical scientist team within the pulmonary function and sleep service.
To work collaboratively with the scientific respiratory team at UHP, Dartmoor building and CDC.

You will be trained to perform basic spirometry and FeNO under supervision, resupply the pulmonary function labs.
To manage stock levels and ensure store room is kept in an organised manner.
To assist the CPAP service in supplying consumables to patients, coordinating the telephone messages, and stock control.
Prepare and provide sleep monitors and overnight oximetry for patients.
To support other team members with day to day tasks and be able to perform basic observations of patients such as blood pressure and oxygen saturations.
To develop skills and experience with additional learning and responsibilities.
To take messages from patients and contact them to discuss issues and escalate to more senior staff.
Responsible for reporting issues of patient concern if they have been identified.
Valuate, interpret, and present all test results in a format in line with departmental policy.
Ensure prompt completion of own duties via the hospital computer system to maintain comprehensive records of procedures.
