Responsibilities

- Develop innovative menus in collaboration with management, catering to diverse customer preferences
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to minimise waste
- Train and mentor staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and service standards
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment at all times
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to coordinate service delivery and optimise guest satisfaction
- Maintain a positive team atmosphere through effective leadership and communication
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen or restaurant setting
- Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation and cooking techniques
- Demonstrated ability in team management and leadership roles within hospitality environments
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Experience in food production for diverse menus and dietary requirements
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure during busy periods
