Maintenance person required full time/ part time to fulfil the role for Easteden Limited, we operate three Care Centres in the Omagh area Slieve Na Mon Care Centre, Mullaghcarn Care Centre and Granard Residential Care Home. The successful person will work across all three homes as allocated by the Senior Maintenance Officer. This will be a temporary contract with a regular review to possible permanent position depending on the operational needs of the Care Centres.
You will have:
Full driving license required for company transport duties.
Understanding of heating systems, laundry equipment and hot and cold water systems.
Knowledge of current health & safety regulations and of the importance of Risk Assessment.
Painting and decorating skills.
An understanding of the issues regarding the Protection of Vulnerable Adults.
Caring and compassion for those with mental health disorder or dementia and their representatives and families
Upkeep of the grounds of the care centres and outlying properties.
Basic plumbing & electrical maintenance skills
Maintain accurate records for Fire safety, regular maintenance checks and water system checks.

Summary
As a Maintenance Person, you will be a vital team member responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities. With core skills in general repairs you will be tasked with maintaining water systems, performing painting & decorating, and utilizing your driving license for various tasks. Additionally, you will have excellent communication skills and an awareness of good customer service. Our aim is to provide the highest quality care to all our residents.
