Full Time Days, salary £13per hour

We are a newly built 68 bedded service situated in Whitchurch. The home will provide care across two floors integrating four communities in a state-of-the-art luxurious facility.
Duties will include:
Prepare, cook meals to include specialised diets where required, and taking into account the preferences and cultures of residents.

Liaise with the Head Chef to plan menus.

Have good presentation skills.

Maintain accurate records of food supplies and freezer/fridge temperatures.

Ensure stock rotation.

Order stock and check deliveries against all delivery notes and in line with the Food Safety System in place.

Supervise and instruct Kitchen colleagues in the use of all equipment and hygiene procedures.

Ensure statutory Health & Safety standards are followed in the kitchen and dining areas.
