Job Description:
We are seeking a professional and motivated Pizza Chef to join our team for the upcoming summer season. This role is based within our newly refurbished catering trailer, providing sourdough pizzas and cooked breakfasts to our guests on site. During June/July this role will also include shifts in our onsite paddock bar. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within the hospitality industry working alongside a great team!
The successful candidate will be a dependable individual capable of maintaining high standards of service and food hygiene during busy periods.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service periods
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
- Serve food efficiently and courteously to guests, maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Maintain rigorous cleanliness and food safety standards within the catering unit, adhering to all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience within a fast paced kitchen is highly desirable.
- Candidates must have full availability to work weekends and bank holidays, as these represent our peak service times.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- A valid Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2) is preferred, though training can be provided for the right candidate.
Terms of Employment
- Contract Type: Seasonal / Fixed-term.
- Hours: 35 per week
- Duration: From May through to October.
- Remuneration: Competitive hourly rate of £14-£17, dependent on experience.
