Our client, a prestigious Top 50 UK law firm, is looking to appoint an ambitious and commercially minded Corporate Senior Associate to join its thriving office.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of transactional work, they are seeking an experienced Corporate lawyer who is looking to take the next step in their career within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
The Team
The Corporate team is recognised nationally for its expertise and advises on some of the most significant transactions in the market. The department works closely with colleagues across Banking, Tax, Employment, Commercial, Real Estate and Dispute Resolution to deliver seamless support to clients.
The team continues to experience significant growth and offers exposure to market-leading work without the culture often associated with larger City firms.
The Role
As a Corporate Senior Associate, you will play a leading role in advising clients throughout the full transaction lifecycle, taking responsibility for managing matters, supervising junior lawyers and maintaining key client relationships.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing M&A transactions from inception through to completion
- Advising on private equity investments, acquisitions and exits
- Drafting and negotiating share purchase agreements, investment agreements, disclosure letters and ancillary transaction documents
- Advising management teams and investors on buyouts and growth capital transactions
- Providing strategic corporate governance and compliance advice
- Advising on corporate reorganisations, restructurings and shareholder matters
- Managing due diligence exercises and coordinating multi-disciplinary transaction teams
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and intermediaries
- Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to the continued growth of the practice
- Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers within the team
The Work

- UK and cross-border mergers and acquisitions
- Private equity and venture capital transactions
- Joint ventures and strategic partnerships
- Shareholder arrangements and corporate governance matters
- Group restructurings and reorganisations
- Employee ownership trust transactions
- Corporate finance matters
- General corporate advisory work for a broad range of commercial clients
Candidate Requirements
Applications are welcomed from Corporate Solicitors with:
- 6+ years' PQE gained within a recognised Corporate practice
- Strong technical expertise across M&A and general corporate transactions
- Experience managing complex matters with minimal supervision
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and project management skills
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of clients' strategic objectives
- The confidence to build and maintain long-term client relationships
- A proactive approach to business development and networking
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers would be advantageous
