Friki Tiki is Newcastle’s vibrant late-night cocktail bar, famous for our themed bottomless brunches, cheeky cocktails, and high-energy atmosphere. We’re open every day until 3am, and our team thrives in a fast-paced, fun environment where no two days are the same.
The Role:
We’re looking for enthusiastic and versatile part time bar staff to join our team. You’ll be working both behind the bar and out on the floor, so you need to be confident in customer service and adaptable to different roles throughout a shift. There will be times where you’ll be lone working, so independence and responsibility are key.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and serving cocktails, spirits, beers, and other drinks to a high standard
- Providing excellent customer service both at the bar and on the floor
- Running food and drinks during bottomless brunch service
- Handling card transactions accurately
- Keeping the bar, floor, and work areas clean, stocked, and organised
- Following licensing laws, health & safety, and hygiene standards
- Confidently working independently when required
- Supporting the wider team during busy late-night service
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous bar or hospitality experience
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to perform under pressure
- Friendly, outgoing, and confident with customers
- Comfortable working late nights, weekends, and busy services
- Reliable, trustworthy, and capable of lone working when needed
- A team player with a positive attitude and plenty of energy
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
