Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy social housing client in Somerset, are looking for an experienced Income Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in their income recovery operations.
Position: Income Officer
Rate: £22.14 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract: Temporary (3 Months) with Possible Extension
Purpose:
- Work with team members and other teams to deliver a customer-focused service, which maximises income collection and supports customers through the impact of welfare reform.
Job Responsibilities:
- Take all appropriate action to maximise income collection from rents,
service and other charges.
- Ensure systems, processes and procedures are fully utilised to ensure
income collection is maximised.
- Ensuring tenants’ income is being maximised, signposting tenants to debt and money advice services and taking action in line with procedures to maximise income collection.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills; both verbal and written.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
