Job Summary
Abacus Flame Ltd are a plumbing and heating company based in Eastbourne and are offering a full time position for an Office Administrator to join the team.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Answering phone calls, dealing with customer queries and booking in jobs.
- Dealing with all incoming and outgoing emails.
- Taking credit/debit card payments.
- Ordering materials for the engineers.
- Kee ping the office area clean and tidy.
- Taking delivery of parcels and labelling them with the job number they relate to.
- Updating spreadsheets.
- Processing invoices and quotations.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- The ability to work individually or as part of a team.
- Experience with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint
- Organisational skills, time management skills and the ability to priority workloads.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Confident in dealing with customers over the phone.
- It is essential that the candidate has experience with office administration and confident with speaking to customers on the telephone.
- Preferable to have experience with working within the plumbing and heating industry.
This position is full-time with 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.
