Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Area Cleaning Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining existing contracts and mobilising new ones, managing cleaning operatives, providing support and guidance where necessary, weekly payroll and processing of hours, monthly materials order, carrying out cleaning audits, recruitment of staff and supporting the senior operations team where appropriate.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining positive and successful relationships with clients
- Auditing of client sites to ensure cleaning standards are maintained to the level expected
- Build and maintain good working relationships with cleaning staff
- Follow company rules and regulations at all times, leading by example
- Ensure the good reputation of the business is upheld at all times
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as required.
Experience
- Previous cleaning management experience is essential including managing school contracts, this is a pressurised role and knowing the industry and challenges it can present is a must.
- A valid driving licence is essential as this role consists of visiting various sites and areas.
- Proficiency in English is necessary for effective communication with clients and team members.
- Strong customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction and maintain professional relationships.
- Good communication skills are essential for building strong working relationships with on site staff and other managers within the business

Pay: From £35,000.00 per year + Car allowance £4400.00 per annum.
